Rugby is a big sport in Les Landes, so I combined the traditional Landais shepherds on stilts to create the posts. The colours are that of Mont de Marsan rugby club. An A4 giglée print.

La fête de la Madeleine is a festival to promote the Mirandaise breed of cattle. This breed was bred especially to work the heavy clay of the Gers and for its meat, but they slowly disappeared as tractors took their place in the fields. Available as A3 and A4 giclée prints.
This petite, but feisty old lady walks her cattle from one pasture to another.
